Download an enrolment form, fill it in and drop it into the school office. Alternatively, contact the school office by phone or in person to put your child’s name on the enrolment list and you will be given/sent an enrolment form.

Enrolment interviews are held in May. Interview times are offered when your child's completed enrolment form is received by our Enrolment Officer, Ms Easter. Written offers of placement will follow in June.

Diocesan School Fee Information for Families 2018

Payments can be made in full or part using eftpos, BPAY, cash, cheque or money order.

If you are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to pay fees, please discuss the situation with the Principal. Your situation will be treated with care and confidentiality and an appropriate arrangement may be made for you.  

No student will be refused enrolment because of a family’s genuine inability to pay fees.

School begins at 8:45am.  Supervision begins at 8:15am.  The school day concludes at 3:00pm and parents are expected to collect their children as soon as possible after this time.

Students enrolled in Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for free bus travel. All other students (Years 3-6) to be eligible must either; reside outside the 1.6 km radius distance from the school OR reside within the 1.6 km radius but have to walk more than 2.3 km to school by the shortest practicable walking distance.

The canteen is operated by a company called Made Fresh each day and aims to provide healthy food choices for children. Lunch orders are available Monday to Friday. A menu with price list is available through the SkoolBag app.

Parents are encouraged to become actively involved in their children’s education at St Michael's. Ways you can help in your child’s classroom are listed above. Other ways of becoming involved are volunteering to help in the canteen, attending special days and events such as school liturgies or performances, helping at special events such as sporting carnivals, working bees, fundraising committes etc

All are invited to become members of the Parents and Friends Committee, who work collaboratively with the school and parish community about matters regarding quality education for all children, and general issues about school life, including social events, fundraising and finances.

Yes, each grade will be different, but parents often participate and contribute in the classroom. This could include helping with reading and literacy programs, mathematics groups, technology, craft, or by offering expertise in a particular area of interest, such as Indigenous Education or Music.

Parents are however required to complete a School Volunteer Declaration
